It's working! But, When I first opened the app and clicked on "Sign In to Ubuntu One", I got re-directed to a blank page in Safari. I think this happened at least twice. After the second time, I re-opened the app and was successfully authenticated, after which the sych worked perfectly, and I enjoyed the animation while they contact sync count grew.
