Kayle: We've received some excellent feedback so far after less than one week of the beta test, and we are in the process of updating all of the help and FAQ information. Regarding lossless content... A few others have expressed similar desires. We will continue to work with our partner to sell the highest quality music available. For your error... The FAQ page you reference contains a link to the project. If you don't find information about your issue when searching the reported bugs, join the other testers in our IRC chat (#u1msbeta on freenode or http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=u1msbeta) and you can get some help. Thanks for helping test the Ubuntu One Music Store!

I'm so happy with this new feature! However, I really want my media encoded with a lossless codec. I don't care which one (WAV or PCM, FLAC, WavPack, Monkey's/APE are all fine), but considering how much I'm paying for it I want lossless. Is there a way to search only for albums that are available lossless? Or advanced search in general (artist, album, track, composer, year, codec, bitrate, etc.)? I noticed 7digital does provide a smattering of FLAC downloads, and some appear to be available through the Ubuntu One Music Store, for example Radiohead is listed in Ubuntu One, and Oasis, Enya, PJ Harvey, and Massive Attack are only available at 7digital's own website. Hopefully they'll add more at some point!
Also, the FAQ could be updated to reflect that there is already FLAC availability, if indeed it is working with Ubuntu One:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuOne/MusicStore/

PS I got an error message telling me that it couldn't connect to the store, with a "click here" to try again, which didn't do anything. If I just ignored the message, it was actually working just fine.

Herman: Sorry for the access problem and thanks for bringing this to our attention. I think you're experiencing an issue that others have reported. Can you post a comment to this bug about access problems in Uruguay? You can also subscribe to the bug for the latest news on the fix. Thanks!

I wasn't able to buy music in Uruguay (next to our big neighboor Brazil).
It said that in my country this option wasn't still available.
That means I can't even download the free music ?

Maudy are you in Brasil?
You were able to get mp3 to you UbuntuOne from Brasil?

Thanks,
Hernan.
