The second Ubuntu Hardware Summit (UHS) took place on Friday 24th September in Taipei. The event, on a bigger scale to that of 2009, was more popular this year, being over subscribed and attracting almost 200 individuals from the Taiwanese ODM and OEM community.

After the inaugural 45 minute keynote from Matt Zimmerman, CTO of Canonical, there was plenty to discuss and take in before the break-out sessions. The Tracks on the day ranged from enabling hardware, the state of multitouch, dualboot and the Ubuntu Client Roadmap. This is now a must-attend annual event to really continue to push Ubuntu as THE Operating System of choice to millions.

Presentation slides from the day will be live at www.ubuntu.com/uhs2010 on 30th September, and video footage of each presentation will be available to download from 5th October.
