Status: Utopic Development Kernel

The Utopic kernel has been rebased to the v3.16.3 upstream stable kernel
and uploaded to the archive, ie. 3.16.0-17.23. Please test and let us
know your results.
Also, we’re approximately 2 weeks away from Utopic Kernel Freeze on
Thurs Oct 9. Any patches submitted after kernel freeze are subject to
our Ubuntu kernel SRU policy.

Status: Utopic Development Kernel

The Utopic kernel remains based on a v3.16.2 upstream stable kernel and
is uploaded to the archive, ie. linux-3.16.0-15.21. Please test and let
us know your results.
I’d also like to point out that our Utopic kernel freeze date is about 3
weeks away on Thurs Oct 9. Please don’t wait until the last minute to
submit patches needing to ship in the Utopic 14.10 release.

We have rebased our Utopic kernel “unstable” branch to v3.16-rc3 and
uploaded to our ckt ppa (ppa:canonical-kernel-team/ppa). Please test.
I don’t anticipate an official v3.16 based upload to the archive until
further testing and baking has taken place.

are preparing initial packages and performing some test builds and DKMS
package testing. I do not anticipate a v3.16 based upload until it has
undergone some additional widespread baking and testing.
